Duncan Scott // AMBULANCE TRAINING

Duncan joined the British Red Cross at the age of 9 and progressed through the Youth program into Adult membership in London and the South East of England. He progressed from undertaking event first aid to qualifying as an Ambulance Technician, where he provided ambulance cover at large and small public events, and as part of a dedicated ambulance response group. This group provided volunteer front line ambulances to support the NHS Ambulance Service during major incidents (this included responding to several major train crashes in and around London and being part of the response to the 7/7 bombing incident in London) as well as front line ambulance provision.

The time spent as a volunteer led to him joining the London Ambulance Service, initially as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT 3) where he worked on the front line on ambulances and response cars, primarily based in North/North West London progressing to EMT 4 advanced technician.

He now is a freelance medic working on events and within the film & TV industry, providing the same level of care to patients!
